Video Recording tips

Ready to leave your final words? Follow the tips below for a superior quality video.

01  Equipment

  • Your recording can be captured by using either an HD video camera or smartphone.
  • Use natural light or good lighting where possible.
  • If possible use a tripod for your camera or smartphone, if you do not have a tripod, find a steady surface such as a table, to place your device to avoid shaky footage.

02  Dress Code

  • Refer to your MOE confidentiality form to guide you as you speak.
  • Dress up and look smart. This is your day.
  • Most importantly, be yourself. Be natural. Laugh, joke and smile keeping in mind to re-assure your loved ones that they must move on.

03  Environment

  • Make sure to be in a peaceful environment.
  • Use a plain background, be comfortable and have a glass of water nearby.

CONFIDENTIALITY

  • Your recording will be captured by our qualified team of videographers at an added fee.
  • Make sure to go over your MOE confidentiality form.
  • MOE works on strict appointments and according to the package of minutes you have chosen.
  • Unnecessary delays will result in added charges.
  • All COVID 19 protocols will apply.
  • Videographers will be identified by an MOE identity card on arrival.
  • Videographer’s photos will be sent to you via Email/WhatsApp for identification and security purposes.

PRIVATE VIDEO SHOOT

For those requiring a private video shoot, our experienced and qualified videographers will set up an appointment with you. A private labour fee and travel out fee will apply dependant on area.
